Change the website Branding

Now that we’ve got the basics covered, let’s talk about how we suggest you customise our Webflow Template, so it aligns with you or your brand. Open up the About CMS Collection and either delete the existing CMS Item and create a new one or change the existing CMS Item to your data. Write your name, check the URL slug, change the Brand Colour to the one you prefer or leave it as is, write your email, think of a Main Slogan, think of a Sub-Slogan, and finally paste it in your Biography.

Add your Portfolio

That should have been easy and fast, now let’s add your Portfolio via the Portfolio CMS Collection. Delete all existing CMS Items and create a new one. Fill out the fields in the collection, add your images, texts, and information about the projects, and click CREATE. Create any number of Portfolio Items and after finishing go to the homepage of your Webflow Template inside the designer.

Change the rest of the Homepage and Global Symbols

Change the Brand Text in the Main Header, change the first H1 heading, and change the footer of the website. To edit a global symbol, double-click on it. While editing the footer, don’t forget to change the settings of the subscription form (placeholder, etc…) and optionally delete The Footer Info Wrapper (people don’t need access to your brand pages, also you don’t have to have links to Webflow and THEWALL.).

Don't forget to change the H1 Heading

You’re done

Once you’ve edited the About CMS Collection, the portfolio CMS collection, the Global Symbols, and the first Heading on the Homepage your website is ready to be published. Congratulations! To learn more about how to do so, if you haven’t yet, read our ultimate guide on HOW TO GET STARTED WITH WEBFLOW TEMPLATES, connect your custom domain, or publish your website to a webflow.io FREE domain.
